In front of a packed house, 40 Arpent Brewing Co. won the inaugural Startup St. Bernard competition on Monday (March 23).  Located in Old Arabi, the micro-brewery founded by Michael Naquin plans to add a tap room to allow the year-old business to serve beer during brewery tours and become a destination for beer fans and tourists.

Startup St. Bernard is an initiative of the Arlene and Joseph Meraux Charitable Foundation in conjunction with The Idea Village, St. Bernard Economic Development Foundation, The Entrepreneur Center at Nunez Community College, St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce and Leadership St. Bernard.
