Will Davis
Economic Development Manager

Will has spent the past 15 years working with some of the most productive real estate development teams in the south. Originally obtaining his real estate license just prior to the ’08 recession, Will cut his teeth working closely with banks’ commercial divisions to turn around their deep backlogs of distressed property. More recently, Will has held leadership roles with some of the most active development and design teams in the Gulf States contributing to numerous high-visibility adaptive reuse projects. During this time, he developed a deep appreciation for the Historic Tax Credit (HTC) and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs, seeing their tremendous impact on blighted communities and their landmark structures.

Will is also an entrepreneur at heart. He created his first company in high school, eventually exiting via a planned sale to a competitor in 2016 after 12 years as a regional top-performer. Will and his wife, Paige, acquired a property management company in 2011, completing a 2-year turnaround and exit plan by 2013 which placed the portfolio in the hands of a locally based non-profit. His father operates an Africa-based water well drilling NGO “A Well-Watered Garden” for which Will sits on the board in an advisory capacity, weighing in on real estate and fundraising projects. Using pathways such as NOEW and the Idea Village, Will has also advised multiple startups as they flesh out their strategic plan.

Above all, Will desires to see things grow. He considers himself a perpetual student of current real estate development, economic development, and business engineering practices, each of which informs his approach to fostering growth. He views his current role facilitating St. Bernard Parish’s economic development initiatives as his most important challenge yet and looks forward to seeing the parish achieve its true potential as a major economic driver for our state, elevating the standard of living for all parish residents.

Sarah Alidor
Program & Operations Manager

After living in Baton Rouge for 12 years, Sarah is thrilled to have returned to her hometown of Arabi, Louisiana and is even more excited for the opportunity to work within such a flourishing Parish. She graduated from Louisiana State University and has managed dental offices over the past 8 years. Through her experiences, she has gained the knowledge and skills to help monitor and grow small businesses. As a small business owner here in St. Bernard, she is deeply invested in ensuring that the growth and development of this parish continues to thrive. Sarah looks forward to being on the SBEDF team and helping the organization in any way possible.
