July 26, 2017 (St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana): The St. Bernard Economic Development Foundation (SBEDF) is excited to welcome a new SONIC Drive-In to St. Bernard Parish. SONIC Drive-In is the nation’s largest chain of drive-in restaurants with more than 3,500 drive-ins serving approximately 3 million customers every day.

“Almost 12 years after Hurricane Katrina, we are excited to bring a SONIC Drive-In back to St. Bernard Parish in an upscale, state-of-the-art facility,” said J. Michael Fincher, Managing Member of Fincher & Pray Investments, L.L.C.  “We are thankful to be a part of this very gracious and welcoming community.”

The new SONIC Drive-In broke ground in February 2017 and opened to the public in late June.  Located at 3201 Paris Road, the SONIC Drive-In is the only location in St. Bernard Parish.

“We’re thrilled to add SONIC Drive-In to St. Bernard Parish,” said Andrew Jacques, Executive Director of SBEDF.  “SONIC Drive-In returning to St. Bernard is another example of regional and national companies taking note of the recent growth in our Parish.”

The new location was developed by Louisiana-based Fincher & Pray Investments, L.L.C., a family owned and operated company.  According to the developer, the project represents an approximate two million dollar investment in St. Bernard Parish and will create 15-20 full time jobs, with an additional 35-40 part time positions.

SONIC Drive-In is open for business Monday through Sunday from 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.
