What is Grow St. Bernard?
Grow St. Bernard is a monthly workshop series designed to help entrepreneurs, small business owners, and self-employed professionals build stronger businesses through practical education, networking, and professional growth opportunities.
Each session lasts approximately an hour and a half to two hours and features experienced speakers who provide personalized attention, hands-on engagement, and real-world insights participants can immediately apply to their businesses. Workshops are interactive, focused on targeted business topics, and include valuable take-home materials participants can use long after the session ends. Topics may include marketing, financial planning, productivity, leadership, customer engagement, and sustainable business growth.

Starting a business takes more than a great idea. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the key steps involved in launching a business, including forming an LLC, registering with the Louisiana Secretary of State, obtaining occupational licenses, setting up business banking, and understanding different business structure considerations. The session will also highlight the importance of building a strong network of professionals and partners, including bankers, CPAs, business attorneys, insurance providers, and other trusted advisors who support long-term business success. Participants will leave with practical resources, helpful guidance, and a clearer understanding of the process of starting and growing a business.
