What is Shop Small?

Small Business Saturday is the kickoff to an entire week-long celebration in St. Bernard Parish. The event is headlined by a 7-day shopper incentive program steered by SBEDF & the St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce, along with a committee of local business owners and community organizations. Businesses offer daily discounts and prizes to lucky shoppers, driving sales throughout the Parish.

The small businesses in our community are owned by your neighbors, friends, and individuals that reside in and have a deep passion for St. Bernard Parish. By patronizing their establishments, you are keeping more tax dollars in St. Bernard Parish, helping small business owners and their employees support their families, and you are creating a greater demand for retail outlets.

The event is presented by the St. Bernard Economic Development Foundation and supported by the St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce, along with our partners: St. Bernard Parish Government, Old Arabi Neighborhood Association, St. Bernard Tourist Commission, and St. Bernard Magazine.
